About

Yes i know ive been slack and haven't been updating the site. But i just havent had all that much to say.. until now that is.Chasein HQ - Part Juan

Last week we uploaded our latest episode of strictly sega and it took us close to 6 weeks to produce. with all the distractions of petty dramas that you dont need to worry yourself about. Whats come out of it though is a new show called the Strictly Sega Solo Series. hosted mostly by just me. (Everyonelovesbutters) More info about that in the first episode so stay tuned for that. In the mean time check out our latest group effort as we knuckle into the classic driving game... CHASE HQ!

4th January - 2009

Well wow,, another season over already, where does the time go I wonder!

We thought we would have a bit of fun seeing its our last one, So we did our own cover of the title song from the game we review.. As well as another grubs 2 cents segment!

Burning Rangers

Ive actualy been forgetful lately and havent been updateing the site much, but over Christmas we did another episode too,, a Collab special with Ronmower and low budget reviews

Where we celebrated christmas with a bit of slamming, poleing, and punching our way through Final Fight CD while ronmower and LBR took on the Super Nintendo version. Its alot of fun for us doing collabs, and i find it really pushes me when editing, So i deffintly hope to do more collabs in the future, Hopefully with the like of MN12Bird and Ronmower again, and maybe even Gamergeezer if I can convince him.

All of them are very good game reviewers and it give me great honour and pleasure to work with them, not to mention all the other chats we have whoile working together. Its a real learning experience. So in this episode we didnt try to make it look like ronmower and LBR were in australia but insted strid to make Strictly Sega more like a Low Budget Review

Id also like to take this space and thank a few people who have helped me out over this year. Starting with fellow youtubers like Dagoolian and ScreamingPixel for their constant assistance in reasearch, making sure I dont miss anything all while covering some pretty comlicated subjects.

Offline: Id like to thank Tamar for the art and banners, Chad for helping me kick off with fresh approaches, Nick Tait for helping me personally get something out there that ive been pasionate about for a very long time Tigeress for helping me see that there was more show to do after Nick left. The new Strictly Sega Team (Scotty, Stewie & KiN) for quickly taking up the reigns and learning so fast.

Oh and of course Yu Suziki and Yuji Naka, the two producers who are solely responsable for my Sega addiction.

We were still finding our bareings more or less b4 that and made two very different episodes. One was Rush2049 on the dreamcast.

and the other was Hardcore 4x4/Sega Rally 2 which due to the way the video is made wont actualy run on youtube sadly so can only be found on wipido or by just clicking on the play button below.

Hey guys, if u havent been bothered subbing to strictly sega then your missing out bigtime.

Things have changed alot in this past month, one of our lead host's (Nick) needed to leave the show so I (charlie) took the opportunity to take the show outdoors where Ive wanted to test it for sometime now.

So besides last week's look back on the FPS classics on the Sega Saturn,
We also have a new team on board too.
Mostly members who have been in previous episodes, but also KiN our residant musician who writes the music for the show will be assisting in some voice over work. He previously did the Nintendo DS commercials in Australia. but we got him to switch sides,, bwhahahar.. fps on the saturn
So insopired alot by Garth Marengi's Darkplace, and Itialian Spiderman. we hope to bring you informative reviews and game history we also have alot of live action work we are working on right now. Well for the next few episodes at least.
So if u like your game reviews action packed full of laughs and lots andl ots of extra information on the games.
Well you know where we are,

So thats november on Strictly Sega, ,,, come on,, come check it out.!

24th September - 08

Seems like another 2 weeks has managed to slip past us as quickly as ever. These 2 weeks we spent taking a look back at the 2 main Mega Drive addon's. First we took a look at the Mega CD, a trueclassic addon, that I like to look back on with lots os positives memories.

Then this week wetake a look at the 32x and Virtua Racing, in all its Shaded Polygon Glory.

If you havent moved from everyonelovesbutters over to strictlysega yet,, then why not? So what do you think of the second season so far? Is our second season starting off like the second season of Heroe's? A bit flat?

Well hopefully next week we can make it up to you with a look back at Mortal Kombat!

We have a special Round Robin planned, well its actualy already filmed..

Monday 8th September

Well, we are well and truely back at it hopefully bigger and better than ever.

Kicking off the season with a look at Die Hard Arcade on the Saturn, its been met to a good response, That we can say we are pretty proud of.

This week though we take a look at Athlete Kings as our sorta salute to the Olympic Games And as a trial we are giving a podcast a go.

Well what a fantastic week we have had filming this weeks episode. We went to the local arcade and we took footage and roadtested some of the Sega games there, and there was quite a few let me tell you.

Of course last week was fun too. But hey, Next week is our last one for a bit, were 22 episodes in and well over the initial 6 episodes i had ideas for when we begun the show.

mind you we still never got the chip working on the model 2 saturn or end up making the choose your own adventrure case of the missing dreamcast. But hey, next season is a whole new fresh batch of games, and consoles and ideas. We havent even touched on the 32x yet or the Master System. So dont worry, after our final Episode next week,. and a little break we will be back.

Heres something fun, check out this bug in MYST on the saturn.

    16th July:

this week were taking a look at some Ea Sports Classic's On The Mega Drive & Mega CD. Ea Had a great line up of sport games and really brought the Mega Drive into the forefront.

Last week was our huge look into mr bones covering each and every varied level as best we could in the time given. One of the Saturn's hidden little Gem's. With great all round graphics, music and gameplay. With a mixure of differnt levels, its always interesting. sadly its too easy and can be beaten first time in under a week. But still a must for any Saturn Fan.
